(יט) ואמר רבנו זכרונו לברכה בפרוש שבכל שיחה ושיחה שהיה משיח ומדבר עמנו יכולים להיות על ידה איש כשר, ואפלו צדיק גמור כל ימי חייו כמו שאני רוצה "אזוי וויא איך מיין איין גוטער יהוד" אם ירצה לילך עמה לקים כפי שיחתו הקדושה. ומי שזכה לשמע שיחתו הקדושה מפיו הקדוש הוא יודע זאת באמת ובברור. וגם אפלו עכשו כשלומדין דבריו הקדושים יש להם גם כן כח גדול לעורר להשם יתברך לזכות לדרכי ה' באמת, למי שישים לבו היטב לדבריו ולשיחותיו הקדושים הנאמרים בזה הספר, ובשאר ספריו הקדושים. כי כל שיחה שלו היא התעוררות נפלא ונורא מאד ודרך ישרה ונכונה מאד לעבודת השם יתברך לכל אחד לפי מדרגתו יהיה באיזה מדרגה שיהיה. אפלו מי שהוא במדרגה עליונה מאד יכול לקבל דרך ישרה ועצות נפלאות מכל שיחה ושיחה שלו. וכן להפך מי שהוא בתכלית מדרגה התחתונה חס ושלום באיזה מקום שהוא, יכול לקבל דרך ישרה ועצות נכונות מכל שיחה ושיחה שלו למלט נפשו מני שחת, ולשוב אל השם באמת אם ישים לבו לדבריו היטב, ויקים אותם באמת ובתמימות בלי שום חכמות. אשרי מי שיאחז בהם:

And Rabbainu o.b.m. said explicitly: "In each and every conversation he held and spoke with us — one can through it become a proper man, and even a complete tzaddik all the days of one's life as I want" [in Yiddish: "azoi viya ich main ain guter Yehud"] — if one is willing to go with it, to fulfill according to his holy conversation. And whoever merited to hear his holy conversation from his holy mouth knows this in truth and clarity. And even now when one studies his holy words, they also have great power to awaken toward Hashem Yisburach — to merit to... the paths of Hashem in truth — for one who sets his mind and heart well upon his holy words and holy conversations said in this book and in the rest of his holy books. For every conversation of his is a wondrous and very awesome awakening, and a very straight and fitting path to the service of Hashem Yisburach for each person according to his level, whatever level he may be on. Even one who is on a very high level can receive a straight path and wondrous counsels from every single conversation of his. And likewise, conversely, one who is at the very lowest level, G-d forbid, in whatever place he is, can receive a straight path and fitting counsels from every single conversation of his — to save his soul from the pit and to return to Hashem in truth, if he sets his mind well to his words and fulfills them truly and wholeheartedly without any [foreign] wisdoms. Fortunate is he who grasps them:
